after a long search on kajiji at dealers through papers and with help from my friends i managed to get a car for $1000 safetied and tested ,
some haters on kajiji tryed to tell me it was impossible, that "you get what you pay for" and "for that price what do i expect".
I always suspected the people that emailed me that were people trying to sell overpriced "as is" rust buckets and the reason they didnt get safetied was because then it would be in writing how much of a shed they were trying to sell.
since when did a $1000 become a small amount of money, its almost a months wage for me.
So to cut a long story short
buyers : keep on believing and dont settle
sellers: get a safety add it too the price your selling the car, if its not worth fixing up sell it as a parts car or scrap it
